Wayne County's 2nd Annual Student Pitch Competition and 5th Annual Adult Pitch Competition
We're excited to share the information about these great opportunities on behalf of the Wayne Economic Development Corporation. Their Economic Development Specialist, Ariel Camp, has this to say:
"We are thrilled to announce Wayne County's 2nd annual Student Pitch Competition and also our 5th annual Adult Pitch Competition, designed to inspire innovation and drive entrepreneurial spirit within our county. Student Pitch Competition
Our Student Pitch Competition is a fantastic chance for high school students (grades 9-12 in the 2023-2024 school year) to explore what it takes to start a business. By developing business ideas, crafting business models, and presenting an investor-focused pitch, students have the chance to win multiple cash prizes totaling $5,000. We encourage you to share this exciting opportunity with educators, parents, and students alike. Adult Pitch Competition
For adults in Wayne County with a passion for business, our Adult Pitch Competition offers a unique chance to turn their ideas into reality. Applicants must reside and operate their business within Wayne County, have been in business for 3 years or less, and attend at least one SCORE entrepreneurial class (every Wednesday at the Macedon Town Library for the next 3 weeks, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). With a grand prize of $20,000, this competition can truly jump-start their entrepreneurial journey.
